Lucille Goose and the Rainy Day

Here’s Lucille! Over some spare time on Monday and Tuesday I colored the pencil sketch I had drawn of her a few days ago ([link]) . My bestest pal =TVsKyle said he wanted to see what it looked like finished so here she is

While I like drawing rain boots, Lucille is a goose and is already prepared for the weather

I based the raincoat off memories of the vinyl raincoats I saw in my childhood. Whenever it rained, you’d see the school bus fill up with all the shiny and squeaky raincoats in all sorts of colors and patterns. It took a while for the bus to dry out after a load of wet kids had been on it though. I’m fairly sure that helped contribute to the weird smell the bus had.
